During her time as an executive Human Resources Manager with one of the largest international residential building businesses in Australia, she implemented support programs for subcontractors and apprentices which saw over 70 young people achieve their full apprenticeship in multifaceted trades This was extremely rewarding for Lisa and is where her motivation and natural ability to help inspire others comes from. Throughout her time in industry, Lisa has recruited and secured employment for hundreds of people ranging from entry level roles, apprenticeships and traineeships to technical roles and through to executive level positions. She has a heartfelt belief that there is a job to suit every individual, one that suits their personal style, ideal work environment and skill set, which is why she is so passionate about helping people find their ultimate career pathway. Stephanie Morris has been connecting young people and their families with education and employment for over 15 years. As a qualified Community Developer and Trainer & Assessor, she firmly believes in the potential of every individual to find a suitable pathway with the right preparation and support. Her career took her from working in schools and for TAFE to a pathway project for the Department of Education and Training. She went on to became a Partnership Broker for The Smith Family, working with schools to help them connect with their communities and to find ways to help young people prepare for the world of work. One of the significant outcomes she achieved was persuading the unique Australian Industry Trade College to open a second campus in Cleveland; Stephanie worked for the college as a recruitment and marketing consultant. As a creative thinker she is constantly searching for solutions to challenging problems, and her understanding of the gaps in the area of career matching and preparation drove her to find a partner who shared her passion and together they created a product to meet that need. Stephanie knows that My Next Steps is that solution and that over time she and Lisa will build a suite of programs that will benefit a diverse range of people who know it’s their time to shine.
